Daniel Perez joined The Museum of Modern Art in 2017 and is the Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he oversees the Museum’s financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting, and capital planning. Since joining, he has contributed to the Museum’s financial planning through major phases of growth and change, including MoMA’s 2019 expansion. Prior to joining MoMA, Perez worked on strategic investments and mergers and acquisitions for Grupo Alfa in Mexico. He holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in chemical engineering from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, and is a classically trained pianist.
