Join us for a private viewing of Gallery 517: A Surreal Lens, which illuminates the Surrealists’ revolutionary impulse to hold a mirror to the unconscious through a range of photographs, paintings, sculptures, and films.

Then, enjoy a facilitated in-gallery discussion with Caitlin Ryan, assistant curator in the Department of Photography, and Rachel Remick, curatorial assistant in the Department of Painting and Sculpture, who co-curated the gallery.
