Join artist Christopher Cozier for a workshop focused on using everyday objects and imagery to tell narratives around participants’ lived experiences. This program is inspired by Cozier’s Tropical Night series, which constructs a personal narrative looking at the world through a Caribbean perspective and using a repeated vocabulary of images linked to his home country of Trinidad. Participants will be invited to bring their own printed images to arrange and intervene in, in the hopes of generating new narratives.
This one and a half hour, in-person program is for anyone who identifies as an artist. It will be followed by a casual reception. This program is free, but an application form is required. To keep the conversation intimate, registration is limited and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. For any questions, please contact [email protected].
