What is the connection between NYC residents and the environment? Take a trip to Oko Farms, NYC's largest and only outdoor aquaponics farm. During a members-only tour, learn how aquaponics farming mitigates climate change and food insecurity. Following the tour, join us for hands-on activities that may include seeding, transplanting, harvesting, feeding fish, or supporting with composting. Participants are encouraged to ask questions during the tour and the workshop.
The entrance to Oko Farms is located at 105 River Street and North 3rd Street, directly adjacent to the East River.
