Please join us for Prime Time Film Screenings: Family Matters, a series of films that explore the joy, mess, and tenderness of family dynamics. Each screening will be followed by an opportunity for conversation.
Beginners. 2010. USA. Written and directed by Mike Mills. 104 min.
Mike Mills found inspiration in his own father’s coming out late in life to create a film that explores how our family histories quietly inform all of our relationships. Through dry humor and artistic charm, this film presents characters who are still figuring themselves out at all stages of life.
