This special edition of Writing Club is a collaboration between Wendy’s Subway and MoMA. The series consists of two sessions, once in MoMA’s galleries and once online via Zoom. Please register for the session that is most comfortable for you.
Zoe Imani Sharpe facilitates this Writing Club at Home focusing on artworks by Sky Hopinka, Gordon Matta-Clark, and Betye Saar. Inspired by Sharpe’s practice and debut poetry collection Figure Eight (2026) published by Wendy’s Subway, we’ll experiment with writing as a means of exploring connections between gesture, intimacy, and architecture. This session will take place online via Zoom.
Zoe Imani Sharpe is a poet and artist working across language, moving image, reciprocal forms of education, and collaborative projects.
