Join us for MoMA After Hours: Wanderlust, a celebration of artists and their ideas through performances, exhibitions, collective art-making, and live music. Inspired by an expansive idea of wanderlust—beyond travel—considering themes of elsewhere, memory, longing, emotional landscapes, and escape, the evening will transform the Museum into a space for discovery, movement, and collective experience influenced by the energy of club culture and artistic collaboration.
Artist-led events include a performance by L’Rain, a DJ set by Alexis De La Rosa with dancer Lysis, a performance by Camila Arroyo and Ricardo Daniel presented by TUMBAO, and a participatory workshop with Cassanda Mayela Allen.
The second-floor collection galleries will be open all evening, along with the exhibitions Full Disclosure: The Edge of Information Design, Nilima Sheikh: Fractured Skies, Taking Back Our Space: Photographic Perspectives, Architects of Liberation: Modernism in Western Africa, and The Surrealist Book: Tomorrow Lives in Mirrors. Pop-up bars will be open throughout the lobby.
Advance ticket purchases are suggested. A limited number of walk-up tickets will be available.
Accessibility
An accessibility information table will be staffed throughout the event at the Membership Desk. Fidgets and noise-dampening earbuds will be available at this table while supplies last.
The main Museum entrance at 11 W 53rd Street is wheelchair accessible and has a power-assist door. A variety of seating is available in the lobby, the Creativity Lab, and the galleries. Gallery stools, wheelchairs, and rollators are available by request at all Museum entrances on a first-come, first-served basis.
Accessible and all-gender restrooms are located on the first, second, and third floors.
Guide dogs and other trained service animals are always welcome. Service animals may find relief outside of the museum through the main entrance, and free re-entry is available during the event.
American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation is available for public programs upon request with two weeks’ advance notice. MoMA will make every effort to provide accommodation for requests made with less than two weeks’ notice.
