MoMA Teens Open Art Space is pleased to announce monthly teen film screenings on Thursday evenings! Join us on Thursday, October 22 from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. for a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975).
When newly engaged couple Brad and Janet find themselves stranded on a dark and stormy night, they seek help at a mysterious mansion—and stumble into the outrageous world of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. The genre-bending musical has become a cult phenomenon celebrated for its campy humor, unforgettable characters, and gleeful celebration of the outcast and spooky.
Doors open at 4:00 p.m. for snacks and hanging out before the film begins promptly at 4:30 p.m. An after-party with food and drag makeup activities will follow. Come in costume and get ready for a night of camp, cult cinema, and all things Rocky Horror.
Open Art Space meets on Thursdays at MoMA’s Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building, located at 4 West 54th Street, near Fifth Avenue.
This program is free and open to all high school–age participants. No previous art-making experience is necessary. Snacks, OMNY cards, and supplies will be provided.

The Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building entrance has a power-assist door.
Seating options include chairs with backs. Gallery stools, wheelchairs, and rollators are available by request at all Museum entrances, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Accessible and all-gender restrooms are located in the mezzanine level of the Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building.
Guide dogs and other trained service animals are always welcome.
American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and live captioning (CART) are available for public programs upon request with two weeks’ advance notice.
