For the performance We Welcome the Moments When Our Questions Have Not (Yet) Found Answers (2026), Samora Pinderhughes invites musical collaborators Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah, Joshua Crumbly, Jack DeBoe, Nick Hakim, and Toshi Reagon to respond to a selection of texts in an attempt to understand this moment in history. Building on traditions of improvisation, the performance reflects the collaborative nature of Pinderhughes’s music practice—and the new forms of sonic experimentation that can emerge.
