Truth, trust, and intimacy are themes Luca Guadagnino, one of the most thoughtfully provocative filmmakers working today, has returned to throughout his career. In After the Hunt he loads them into a pressure cooker and dials the temperature all the way up. Julia Roberts, starring as a university professor around whom a universe of adoring acolytes (Ayo Edebiri, Andrew Garfield, and Michael Stuhlbarg) orbit, proves once again that few actors can set the screen ablaze quite like she can. The pristine world these characters navigate explodes as accusations fly and lies are revealed, leaving no one unscathed. After the Hunt is truly a mirror of our times.

Tickets are available to members at the Explore category and above beginning two weeks before each screening date. Additional tickets will be released to members and the general public one week before each screening date. Please note that space is extremely limited and tickets will be in high demand. Tickets can be reserved at moma.org/contenders beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET.
