In conjunction with the exhibition Ruth Asawa: A Retrospective, our December Drop-in Drawing sessions will be held in the exhibition galleries. These drop-in sessions will be facilitated by a teaching artist and MoMA staff, and will feature self-guided drawing prompts as well as short, artist-led demos/lessons throughout the evening.
Explore the work of Ruth Asawa in this relaxed drop-in session for all ages. Materials and seating are provided. Participation is open to all, with no experience, ability, or reservations required. Drawing prompts will be available in English and Spanish.
Drop-in Drawing is part of UNIQLO Friday Nights, when MoMA is open late every Friday night, and admission is free for all New York State residents.
The Adobe Foundation is proud to support equity, learning, and creativity at MoMA.
Major funding is provided by the Agnes Gund Education Endowment Fund for Public Programs, the Jeanne Thayer Young Scholars Fund, and the Annual Education Fund.
