“Uncanny undercurrents, a world in flux”
Artist Party: Destination Unknown is a celebration of contemporary art at MoMA, highlighting works in our second-floor collection galleries. Inspired by uncanny imagery, unforeseen turns, uneasy consequences, and the shifting historical currents within these galleries, we invite you to explore the unknown with artists as your guides.
Throughout the night, join artists featured throughout the collection galleries for special performances, immersive storytelling, inspiring conversation, shared art-making, joyful revelry, and more.
Featured artist-led activations by Agosto Machado, Christopher Kulendran Thomas, Lyle Ashton Harris, DonChristian Jones, and Korina Emmerich and Liana Shewey of Relative Arts.
Performance by duendita. DJ set by Las Flaquitas.
A pop-up bar will be available all night.
Advance tickets are now sold out. A limited quantity of walk-up tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event.

The Marlene Hess and James D. Zirin Lounge on the first floor can be used as a respite from crowds, and may be somewhat quieter than other areas. Food and drink can be brought into this space.
