Join us for an illuminating discussion about Pirouette: Turning Points in Design with Paula Vilaplana de Miguel, curatorial associate in the Department of Architecture and Design, and industrial designer Tucker Viemeister, co-founder of Smart Design and principal at Viemeister Industries. The exhibition includes a selection of Viemeister’s renowned Oxo “Good Grips” kitchen tools, which will spark a conversation about the concept of “smart” design and its capacity to positively impact and improve everyday life.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the conversation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Please enter through the Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building at 4 W 54th Street. Advance registration is required and capacity is limited; reservation admits two and is nontransferable.
