Join Michelle Kuo, MoMA’s Chief Curator at Large and Publisher, for a conversation with artist Melvin Edwards; Katy Siegel, Thaw Chair and Distinguished Professor, Stony Brook University and Curator-at-Large, SFMOMA; and MoMA painting conservator Michael Duffy about the groundbreaking work of Jack Whitten—and get an exclusive look at materials from the archives, books, and ephemera relating to Jack Whitten’s work.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the conversation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Please enter through the Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building at 4 W 54th Street. Advance registration is required and capacity is limited.
