Please join us for an after-hours walk-through of Amalgams and Graphts, an exhibition of new work by Nick Cave at Jack Shainman Gallery’s flagship location in Tribeca.

Nick Cave is an artist and educator working between the visual and performing arts through a wide range of mediums, including sculpture, installation, video, sound, and performance. In this new exhibition, Cave presents two distinct series: monumental bronze sculptures called Amalgams and a series of mixed-media self-portraits, Graphts. The large-scale Amalgam sculptures expand upon the artist’s celebrated Soundsuits, one of which, gifted by Agnes Gund, is part of MoMA’s collection.
